Cara Robino earned her Doctor of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City. She completed her master’s degree there when the school was still Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, graduating with the Lhasa OMS Valedictorian Award for Acupuncture.
She works in multidisciplinary practices alongside physicians, nurses, physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists. Her clinical internships were at Columbia University, Housing Works, and Kamwo’s Grand Meridian Clinic in New York City, and in 2019 she attended the Society for Acupuncture Research conference on a student researcher scholarship. In 2023, MSK WellCare in Huntington, where she has practiced, shared the Best Acupuncturist title in the Best of Long Island readers’ poll, with Cara named in the listing.
Cara was selected for the inaugural cohort of GLO-IMPACT, a Society for Acupuncture Research program built on Memorial Sloan Kettering’s training in acupuncture for people in cancer care, and is on file with Memorial Sloan Kettering as a practitioner trained in this therapy. She is certified in dry needling and microneedling, and is CPR certified.
Every visit is with Cara, and treatment is tailored to your health history, goals, and response to care. Away from practice, she spends time with her husband and two sons, and loves to travel, hike, and cycle.
